Environmental Research Resources

Acadia University has a long history of achievement in field biology and environmental science. To sustain that legacy into the future, the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens have provided Acadia University with a unique array of research resources for new generations of students and researchers. For example, phytotrons, freezers and growth chambers provide researchers with a highly adaptable system to understand the effects of climate change. The Wetland Research Laboratory is specially equipped for the study of our unique Gulf of Maine/Bay of Fundy environment.
