Acadia's Irving Centre Seedbank featured in University Affairs article

An interesting article in University Affairs on the value of Canadian seedbanks features some of the work by the Acadia Seedbank on the preservation and restoration of the Eastern Mountain Avens (Geum peckii), an endangered plant found only on Brier Island in Nova Scotia, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. More info on this research can be found here. The Acadia Seedbank is part of the Irving Biodiversity Collection (Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens, E.C. Smith Herbarium, and Acadia Seedbank) in the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre at Acadia University.
