PEMSIK MAQA’TASIKL ANKO’TMU’KL & HARRIET IRVING BOTANICAL GARDENS invite you to a FREE full moon event.

Gather with us to celebrate the ‘Birds Shedding Feather Moon’, a time that traditionally marked the July full moon and is known as Peskewiku’s (bes-gay-we-goos) in Mi’kmaw.

We’ll learn about Nukumi’s (Grandmother’s) Teachings through the Pemsik Mawa’taslkl Anko’tmu’ki conservation work and end with a walk and a Swift Story through the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens. Meet in the Auditorium of the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre. Tea and treats provided.

Event is a collaboration between the Melissa Labrador and Acadia University Staff.
