Today the K.C. Irving Centre was bustling as we decorated our balsam fir tree. Our Friends of the Acadian Forest volunteer group was the lead in decorating the tree, and they also brought festive cheer with decorated cookies to share!

Dr. Zoë Migicivosky and some of her lab group joined the fun, as well as many of our Irving Centre staff.

Each year we locally source a balsam fir to stand in our lobby for students, community and visitors to enjoy!

Our ornaments are handmade with materials sourced from the Wapna’ki forest region. The ornaments are best appreciated in person, we invite you to visit during the holiday season!

The K.C. Irving Centre doors are open daily 8am – 10pm. From December 24 to 31st reduced hours are 10am – 4pm. The Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens remain open daily from dawn to dusk, weather permitting. Please note Café hours will differ based on student employee availability.
