Abby Falkenham graduated from South Colchester Academy in Brookfield, Nova Scotia with both honours with distinction and a passion for the environment. Abby was an active member in both her schools Envirothon and Robotics clubs, even attending events and workshops hosted here at Acadia University. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties it placed on extra curriculars, Abby ran and was voted in as Co-Student Council President of her high school. Outside of school she is a member of her local volunteer fire department and 4-H club. Abby uses her involvement in the 4-H program to advocate and educate herself and others on environmental issues, specifically those surrounding farming and agriculture.
While at Acadia, Abby’s interests evolved to lead her to psychology. She aspires to study the interactions between mental health and the environment.
