Abby Falkenham graduated from South Colchester Academy in Brookfield, Nova Scotia with both honours with distinction and a passion for the environment. Abby was an active member in both her schools Envirothon and Robotics clubs, even attending events and workshops hosted here at Acadia University. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties it placed on extra curriculars, Abby ran and was voted in as Co-Student Council President of her high school. Outside of school she is a member of her local volunteer fire department and 4-H club. Abby uses her involvement in the 4-H program to advocate and educate herself and others on environmental issues, specifically those surrounding farming and agriculture.

At Acadia, Abby will be taking a 3 year BASc in Electrical Engineering with the hopes of someday achieving her PhD. Her goal is to become involved with renewable energy complexes and bring a job focus back to her home in the Maritimes.
