Kirsten’s drive to give back to her community is apparent in her volunteer work with the Women’s Institute, the recreation program at Andrews of Stratford Senior Care Center, and the Charlottetown Ringette Association.
Kirsten will be pursing a BSc. in Environmental Science in the fall of 2023 and is excited to learn about implementing solutions that preserve coastal and island ecosystems with the increasing challenges of the climate crisis. Ultimately, Kirsten hopes to use her knowledge by giving back to her island community and sharing her passion and love of the environment with others.
