A Big Thank You to Our Many Volunteers

There are a myriad of jobs at K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens that need to be done to keep the Centre and Gardens in tip top shape and running smoothly. Thankfully over the years, dozens of community members and retired folk, as well as high school, undergraduate and graduate students have volunteered their time to help out with these essential, but sometimes onerous tasks, in the Gardens, the Herbarium, and the Seedbank. Thank you to all of these folks for their generous sharing of time and effort.

2017-18 Arthur Irving Academy Research Grant Recipients Announced

The Arthur Irving Academy Research Grants in Environmental Science are annual funding awards for Acadia researchers/research teams promoting the use of the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and/or the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens through research projects in support of the environment.
